Biography
A.K. Srivastava obtained his Ph.D in Soil Science from famous Banaras Hindu University (India), and is currently working as Principal Scientist (Soil Science) at Indian Council of Agricultural Research- National Research Centre for Citrus, Nagpur, Maharashtra (India) as an expert on FRUIT NUTRITION over the last 25 years. Recipient of many awards comprising S.N. Ranade Award for Excellence in Micronutrient Research, Fertilizer Association of India, International Plant Nutrition Institute-Fertilization Association of India and fellow of 9 academic societies including Indian Society of Soil Science. He is credited with 132 research publications in peer reviewed journals of high impact factor. Author of 6 books comprising Advances in Citrus Nutrition by Springer-Verlag, The Netherlands. He was the Keynote Speaker in World Citrus Congress held at Wuhan, China in 2008. He is the Member of Editorial Board of high impact factor peer reviewed journals like Journal of Plant Nutrition, Communications in Soil Science and Plant Analysis, African Journal of Agricultural Research and Associate Editor of Agronomy Journal.
