Amanda Terol Pardo is working as a researcher since 2007. At present she is working as postdoctoral research in the Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry Department at the University of Genoa (Italy). She graduated in Human Nutrition and dietetics from the University of Alicante (Spain) in 2004 and in Food Science and Technology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) in 2006. Her doctoral studies were carried out in the University of Alicante in the field of food analysis and she had her European PhD in 2012. Her research career has been focused in food quality,with the development of new analytical techniques for the determination of food components and at present she is also applying these methodologies tobiological samples. She has participated in numerous congresses and has published 8 papers and 3 chapters in well-regarded journals and books.
